                                                          heh. went back to school today! accompanied angela who had to take her cheque for good progress award. truthfully, i do miss going to school. after 12years of schooling, i kinda miss wearing uniforms, going for morning assemblys, having celebrations and stuff like that. homework, tests, exams not inclusive! haa. oh well. i miss school. especially squash trainings. lol. 
so... we went to escape today! but to our dismay, 4 rides were down. we still went anyway since it was free. hahaha. spent half the day there. there werent many people today but many rides such as the invertor only has 5 seats operating. boo. but it was still kinda fun la. haa. oh yeah peilin won herself a dolphin! haha... its cute. 
haha... 
time really flies. in no time we'd be welcoming and venturing into the year 2oo6. 
this year hasnt been an awefully exciting and fun one.
thankfully, there's no heart rending moments.
but without a doubt, i'd my fair share of oogling at cute guys and a puny crash on some unknowns.
haaz. never about that.
since May, life was mundane and a vicious cycle.
wakeup, school, study, eat, study, eat, study, sleep.
that was my kinda lifestyle for nearly half a year!
am really proud of myself that i'd managed to withstand all the gruelling periods.
there were many times when i felt totally crappy. 
likeshit.
haha... and it wasnt due to studies.
ah well, all has already come and gone.
i'll never forget the happy moments i've had with everyone out there!
may 2006 be a better year ahead for all!
and that includes desirable A levels results!

                                                          hey guess what! mum bought for me this lovelyyyy white dress and this cool black belt from ozoc and this really sweet necklace! and dad got me this absolutely niceee jacket! yayness (:
there's this really gorgeous hunk working at newurbanmale at citylink! he reminds me of jianyi (from the rainbow connection 9pm show) haha... if it werent for my mum i would have melted on the spot. haha. just kidding.

ok some food recommendations:
fish soup- blk 629 bedok reservoir. the fish slices are really big and fresh! the soup tastes heavenly! niceeee!
carrot cake-the coffeeshop opp. tampines NPP for those who like black carrot cake, sorry only white avaliable. but its really nice! best in singapore! (to me haha)
wantan mee-bedok centre coffeeshop. situated beside the interchange. but only avaliable in the morning. the chili they use is really special. haa. a must try! its called ben4 zhen1 wantan mee.
chicken rice-bedok reservoir road. coffeeshop opp. TKPS. very nice! a must try!

feel bad for pangseh-ing lionel who's so accident prone. but never mind. he's evil. /

was reading the past entries few days back.and i realised...i've locked myself away from many people...people whom, from my view, try to approach me nearer than they should.i've been dodging.i've been hiddingmaybe its feari dont want to be deluded. yet again.but whatever it is, its preventing me from opening upfrom believing and trusting.even if the person does have the key to my heart...im afraid i may not relentthis past year, the feeling of emptiness engulfs me.but i feel safe. although its uneventful and dull, at least i dont risk myself of getting unhinged which would eventually lead to desolation.when would i open up.who would that person be.question marks remain.i've to learn how to deal with my own emotions first.for the first time this year, i no longer wanna feel safe.i wanna feel again...forgive me for my misdeed.to those i've hurt so, sorry.

FULL HOUSE. its a korean show starring
 RAIN and song hui qiao! korean shows are usually lovelorn dramas whereby its usually "saturated" with heart-rending scenes. but! 
FULL HOUSE is otherwise! its not only a sweet show but its damn funny. especially 
RAIN. totally cute and hot! /
beams dreamilyand i feel like watching it again. =] heh.
oh! i met Lihua yesterday on the bus! hoho. my primary school good friend but somehow we lost contact when we were in secondary school. so anyway, it was by sheer coincidence that i bumped into her and yep, we caught up on our individual lives. it feels awesome meeting and chatting with an old friend. 
/grinswent to my auntie's house yesterday and my cousin said that she's already watched 
FULL HOUSE 5 times! she's totally into 
RAIN and yes she's married with 2 young kids. lol. but cant blame her la... who can resist such cute and talented hottie! muhahahaha. saw my nephew yesterday. and... (no idea is it due to the influence of korean shows) he looks like a korean! lol. he'll be one charming dude when he grows up. and he's able to sing the korean song of 
FULL HOUSE! amazing. while listening to it on tv, i was wondering how come there's an echo beside me and realized it was my nephew who was singing along. haha.
he's finally stopped calling. but thats because i said i flew to malaysia 2days back. whaha. /

                                                          thanks to lionel, today isnt an awefully boring day! haha. after going to tiong bahru for his medical appointment, we caught The Chronicles Of Narnia at tiong bahru plaza. its only my 2nd time there. so sua gu. anyway, its about 2hrs long but i'd say its worth it. nice! =]
that person's still calling! grrrrrr. funniest part was, lionel answered the call after it'd been ringing for the 5th time. he lied that i was at the doctor and that he's my boyfriend! and he was supposed to sound fierce but he ended sounding hilarious! at least to me. muhaha. i lied that i was going to the doctor at 10am. and i lied that i was at the doctor at 3+pm. it wasnt until lionel mentioned did i realise that my "visit to the doctor" was extremely long. hahaha. despite knowing that i'm "attached", he's still calling.

on a lighter note, finally caught up with my beloved squash babes after soooo long. really missed those old times. even though training was tedious and arduous, it was nonetheless fun. somehow, i miss school. haa. oh man i miss everyone! including coach. heh.
AHHH. now 933 is playing weijian's tian kong!!! wooooooooo. i miss him. =p hahahahha.
sis is finally back from the states. well i hope she got me something decent this time round and not some "oh piang" bag and clothes. /prays. hahaha so mean of me.

                                                          hmm... been looking for jobs recently with angela. haha and its undeniable that we're awfully picky about the jobs we want. either the pay's too low or we have scrub floor or its a must put on some gross attire etc. these are no-nos! muhahahaaa.
the most recent one is a sales one at apex tower. the environment is condusive and the people there are young and sociable. the main reason why we turned down the offer is cuz the pay is based solely on commission. ha. so ya. oh ya and the supervisior and manager asked whether i was a eurasian. and we met this guy from sass who's seriously weird. sometimes he laughs along with us and sometimes he gets agitated and seems as though he's about to pick up fights. he actually thought "local" = "chinese" haha. interesting fellow.
would be trying pl's job next week. hopefully there'd be sufficient vacancies. if not, shake leg at home lor. hahaha.
gonna do a portfolio tomorrow. haaz. the lady was like asking me whether i was interested in taking up a daughter role of dont know who. actually they're looking for girls aged between 12-15 and she asked whether i wanted to try. well, its kinda hilarious but dont know whether to take it as a compliment or an offence. boooo.
so yup. actually i wanna try the sales job. i like the people there. but... too risky. am not up to it. ha.

                                                          yay. got home last night. in a flash, the long and anticipated trip is over. anyway, i was so tired that i refused to get out of bed since last night till 5+ just now. ha.
went to 
hangzhou, suzhou, wuxi, nanjing and shanghai. it was
 frigging cold can! especially at the first 3 destinations and i thought i would turn into an ice cream. everyone dreaded when there was wind as it felt like it was biting into your skin! and because of the coldness, i didnt look forward to trips like near some lakes! speaking about lakes, there's this lake at shanghai which is like...a sea? and one at hangzhuo which is vastly huge but the depth is between 1.9m to 3m. ha.
frankly speaking, the places we went were not only boring at times but super costly! you see... they brought us to places like the 
pearl factory, some crystal muesum, some silk factory etc! and a 250g packet of pearl powder costs S$70! and the silk blanket costs 380yuan! and that doesnt include the cover which cost about 900yuan! and one bottle of long jing cai is like 200(forgot whether its yuan or sing)! then we went to places for talks on 
chinese medicine and 
chinese teapots. though the main objective is to 
hopefully instill certain knowledge with regards to the chinese culture and practises, its kind of inappropriate for 3 young kids who are still in primary school! oh ya and there was this talk on this lion made of precious stones like jade which is believed to bring luck to the owner. and a small one the size of a 50cents coin costs s$59! and yeah my parents really spent like crazy. mum bought enough pearl powder to last us 4years. the amount of stuff they bought took up more than 2 luggages.
but then again, the cost of living is obviously lower in china, apart for certain places in shanghai.
best part of it is, you can bargain like mad! my auntie bought a jade necklace for just 700yuan! down from the initial 3900yuan. how cool is that! whahaha. but then its known that these sellers jet up their prizes by a few hundred percents. natuarally, there are lots of imitations but they're so real! like the pair of converse shoe which i saw at some street in shanghai! it even has a tag and costs only 100yuan! which is about S$20! haaz. and my mum bought original tv series vcds
for just 200yuan! and my uncle bought an original cd for just 10yuan. hahaha.
unlike singapore, china has really rich historical heritage and culture which is truly impressive. provinces like hangzhou and suzhou have really spectacular places of mother nature.
so it was kind of fun experiencing new stuff in china and the weather is awesome at nanjing and shanghai! so cooling! and of course our tour guide was awesome. just that i felt kind of inferior when i speak to him. and now, i'm so sick of xiao long bao which we had almost everyday!
i still prefer spore to china. muhaha.
firstly, most people there seemed to have replaced cigarettes for food! even at air conditioned places, smoking isnt prohibited! 
wth. and even if there's a sign with "no smoking" on it, people do not give a frigging damn even at restaurants!
secondly, because china is so huge, the traffic is terrible especially in shanghai! every monday and friday, everyday in the mornings and evenings, according to the guide, the roads would be jam packed with vechicles. and even in the hotel, we could hear cars honking away even at night. in shanghai, you'll be able to hear honks every second.
thirdly, the traffic lights especially in shanghai are merely "decorations". you see, drivers do not give a damn whether its red or green. even if its red, it'll still drive pass and worst, honk at people who are crossing the road when the green man flashes! also, in china, you dont just look right and left when you cross the road. you must look 
left right front back! for the cars and bicycles come from everywhere!
fourthly, too many 
pick pockets! thankfully we hadnt met any. ha.
fifthly, due to certain historical values, the food there is super duper oily and salty. totally gross!
sixthly, china seems to hate having toilets! you see, only at places like the airport could you find more than 3 cubicles in the toilet. at the pearl factory, the female toilet only has 3 cubicles. one with no door. the other which you cant lock. and the last one which you cant close the door. i'm highly amused! we're talking about shanghai which consists of 12 singapores! and yet so few toilets. double zzz. ok the worst part is, at the particular street at shanghai, you have to pay 3 jiao3 for each toilet visit. and you know what. i ran out feeling nauseous after being in there for less than 2mins! you see... the 3 cubicles on one side are 
doorless! and the other 3 has doors but till your neck. in fact, most toilets in china are like that! the disgusting part was, instead of a toilet bowl, you do your business in a 
long drain! and it only flushes after several minutes! you cant imagine the level of grossity (if there's such a word)! the toilets in china seriously need a lot of improvements!
sevethly, for the past 8 days there, i've never heard a word of "excuse me" and only "sorry" once though i believe i deserve more than that. well, they arent that civilised. they literally push you aside when they wanna walk pass you! and i felt like a fool apologising to them when i blocked them and stuff like that for they didnt bother to even glance at you! even the attitude of the bell boys is atrocious! they didnt even said "thanks" when we gave them tips, which is a 
must! zzz.
finally, the people there just spit and sneeze while walking. zzz. so grossssss.
ha what an extremely long complain list. but on a personal note, these really put me off though there are some who said that they like china. but for me, singapore is still the best. muhaha.
it feels great going on holiday. i wanna go again! and pliots are so charming! haha.

                                                          am super shagged.
went for bibi's and our class chalet yesterday. thankfully both were in pasir ris. oh ya before that, we went to orchard to look for their presents and we were looking pretty unglam. ha. signed up with a job agency thereafter. hope i wouldnt remain jobless for long. /beams
we expected more to turn up for bibi's chalet which is mainly held to celebrate birthdays for the november babies. anyway, had to wait for our dear leonard to arrive before we could cut the cake. what a horse. whaha. we were in a difficult situation then. but, whatever manz~
headed back to the class chalet after that. there were only 7 of us lor. so sianz. ended up rotting at mcdonalds till 1am consuming transfats and talking rubbish. only managed to sleep for barely 2hrs thanks to a few who were super hyper even in the middle of the night. /salutes. haaz. kept eating yesterday. arghhhh. this is bad(very).
went back this morning hoping to catch some sleep. the travelling time for bus58 from pasir ris to bedok reservior is usually about 10mins. but this absolutely wonderful bus driver drove at about 40km/hr even on the highway and i fell asleep 3times! am highly amused man. the rate he was driving was as though there's a traffic light at every 50m. blahz! back home, i forgot that my yet-to-be-neighbour is renovating their house currently and just when i thought to myself dreamily that i could rest for about 3hrs, the drillings, hammering and whatever they were doing started.

so anyway, we met up again at tampines to watch chicken little! initially pl was like saying, since its a cartoon so there wouldnt be many people wanting to watch it. ha. but! when we reached there, tickets were selling fast lor. zzz. but we still caught it la and its greattttt! chicken little is totally adorable! haaz. then pl went for her driving lesson and the 3 of us headed to angela's house. at first we planned to leave at about 7. but! we ended up leaving at only 8 cuz we were catching the SEA games. lol. it sounds insane but we were acutally cheering and screaming while watching those competitions. haha. and even got agitated whenever others, non-singaporeans basically, were fanning themselves, talking, moving about, in short, not respecting our national anthem when it was being played. whaha. well, at least it shows that we love singapore! whaha.
very few turned up for the bbq but nonetheless, it wasnt that bad. am so dead man. havent finished packing my stuff. there's so many things to bring la. haiyoh.
need to catch up on my beauty sleep soon!
